Yummy instant pickles

Instant ginger pickle

Ingredients:
  • one bowl finely grated ginger
  • juice of one lemon
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 5 tbsp  Jaggery
  • mustard seeds
  • fenugreek seeds
  • turmeric powder each 1/4 tbsp
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • 1/2 tbsp chilly powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:
Mix ginger , lime juice , salt and jaggery in a bowl. Heat oil in a pan , Add mustard, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, and let it crackle, turn off the heat. Add turmeric and chilly powder to hot oil. let it cool. Now add this mixture to ginger mixture.mix well and your instant ginger pickle is ready

Coriander Pickles

Ingredients:
  • Two bowl finely chopped coriender leaves
  • juice of one lemon
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 5 tbsp  Jaggery
  • mustard seeds
  • fenugreek powder a pinch
  • turmeric powder a pinch
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • 1/2 tbsp chilly powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:
Mix coriander, lime juice , salt and jaggery in a bowl. Heat oil in a pan , Add mustard, fenugreek powder,asafoetida, and let it crackle, turn off the heat. Add turmeric and chilly powder to hot oil. Let the oil cool. Now add this mixture to coriander mixture.Mix well and your instant coriander pickle is ready
